What a beautiful setting for a nature trip! At the heart of the Hauts-de-France region, the “Rouge” Flandre Lys ecolodge is located next to the marina in Haverskerque and the Lys river. This unique accommodation, an ecological cabin with a green roof, offers lush natural surrounding and a direct view over the nautical base. Here, you can enjoy a weekend or holidays surrounded by nature, relaxing, taking trips and enjoying many water sports and leisure activities. A perfect, affordable gîte for discovering the hiking trails of the Lys Valley and its surroundings, and for enjoying an atypical stay along the water!

The accommodation:
Each ecolodge is made up of a main room, a kitchen area and a mezzanine and can sleep four people . These cabins are equipped with a two-person mattress on the mezzanine and a trundle bed ( accessible for people with reduced mobility ) on the ground floor with two single beds. Sheets, blankets, pillowcases and towels are not provided (possibility of online rental at an additional cost) Heating allows you to enjoy this accommodation system pleasantly during the off-season. A kitchenette is also available.

The toilet block is located in the captaincy of the nautical base located fifty meters from the ecolodges (toilets, shower, sink, washing machine, etc.).
Shower price: €2 per person (access cards provided on site)
A picnic area (table and bench) as well as a barbecue are installed on the site at the disposal of the residents of the ecolodges . The cabins are accessible to people with reduced mobility and have a terrace.

The Flandre Lys ecolodges are open all year round.
Exceptional closure: due to work, the 3 ecolodges are currently closed.
In practice
Your rental can extend up to 6 nights per reservation and per person. This must be done at least 48 hours in advance on the website www.capsurlarivieredor.com to be validated.
- Arrival is between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. (no late arrivals can be made).
- Departure is between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
- The keys are to be collected on site from the manager Sabine DUBOIS; it will be necessary to contact her by telephone 24 hours or even 48 hours before your date of arrival - on 06 40 45 18 47 - in order to fix with her the precise times of the incoming and outgoing inventory of fixtures.
An identity card is required in exchange for the keys to the hut and the sanitary facilities. This will be returned to you when you leave. Pets are allowed to stay in ecolodges.
Mandatory
On your arrival you will be asked:
A deposit check payable to the CCFL or a cash deposit of €70 which will be given to your manager Sabine Dubois during the incoming inventory; this deposit will be returned to you during the outgoing inventory if the ecolodge is returned in the same state of cleanliness as when you entered the premises.
In the event of a breach, an additional 70 euros will be invoiced to you for the cleaning of your accommodation.
The tenant will be required to take out insurance with an insurance company both for his rental risks and for the property rented out. The tenant must be able to provide any proof of "resort insurance" at the manager's request.
The tenant must comply with the internal regulations of the Marina, in particular for noise, cleanliness, removal of household waste.
The site and its surroundings:
On-site activities
Hikers will be able to enjoy many hiking and cycling routes throughout the year in an exceptional setting harmoniously blending water and greenery.
In the summer, the nautical base is open to the general public and offers nautical and outdoor activities (canoeing, pedal boats, mountain biking, electric bicycles, archery, electric boats, etc.). A 12-seat boat not requiring a license can also be rented for excursions on the water.

Customer benefits
Every rental of an ecolodge entitles you to a 10% discount on the nautical base’s activities: rental of mountain bikes and canoes-kayaks, stand up paddle boards, archery, etc.
You can also book an electric boat (capacity: 4 people) by the hour or more from the Flandre Lys marina.
Nearby activities
Two villages surround the nautical base: Haverskerque and Saint-Venant. Restaurants, small businesses, cafés and pharmacies are therefore just a short walk away.
Nieppe Forest
With its 2,602 hectares, the state-owned forest is the largest forest tract in the Dunkerque arrondissement. Nieppe Forest welcomes many visitors on foot, on mountain bikes and on horseback in all seasons.
The Amont Forest heronry
The heron colony is located behind the forester’s house at Le Forest and is the ideal place from which to observe the hundreds of birds who make their way there to build their nests in early February.

Two hiking circuits begin in the borough of Haverskerque:
- Tannay circuit: 6 km / 2h00
- Trois clochers circuit: 10.5 km / 3h30

For cycling enthusiasts, the Eurovélo V from Saint-Venant to Aire-sur-la-Lys offers 13.7 km of cycle paths along the Lys. The Lys Valley & Monts de Flandre node network is also connected to the site (map available in the shop at the price of €7)

Greeters are residents of the Lys Valley who accompany tourists (6 people maximum) on a voluntary basis.
They show tourists the known and lesser-known corners of their town and tell « stories to live ». The Greeter's own story takes a central place in the storytelling tour.
Don't hesitate to book a walk with a greeter to immerse yourself in the local life and discover the surroundings in a unique way.

Très déçu de cet hébergement, sans eau courante et sans toilette à proximité, sans parler du couchage en hauteur, Très limite au niveau sécurité incendie.
Propriétée Très mal entretenue à l'extérieur.
Nous n'avons resté qu'une nuit, préférant fuir cet inconfort.
Même à la capitainerie, endroit pour aller aux toilettes et douche, la vétusté et le manque d'entretien sont bien visibles !
